In downtown Angola is what some would call a round-about. Here we call it the Mound because it's the highest point in downtown. Indianapolis calls what it has The Circle or The Monument Circle. There is a monument in the center of the Mound dedicated to those who fought in the Civil War from Steuben County. There were a lot of those folks who did that. I think we had the highest percentage of any county in Indiana. Anyway, this is the way the Mound looked on 31 March 2011. The third photo is the courthouse.
I cannot paint because I am unable to translate what I can see to paper or canvas. My wife, my son and my brother are the artists in the family. I do, however, love to take photos. Here are some of them. ALL POSTINGS ARE COPYRIGHTED AND MAY NOT BE REPRODUCED WITHOUT PERMISSION.

Tree, contrail and blue sky
I love trees, especially without leaves. This one happened to appear with a reminder that we who live in Northern Indiana are the "fly over people".
