Ice, Ice, Ice

I have always loved the appearance of ice all over everything after an ice storm.  I know it's destructive and knocks out the electricity and all of that, but I still like the looks of it.  So here are some studies of ice all over everything from yesterday - 23 February 2011.  Clicking on a photo will allow it to be seen larger and in more detail.

Snow and Ice

We had one of those "no name" storms over the past couple of days that provided much more in the way of ice and snow than any of us wanted.  Notwithstanding the fact that my car was frozen up tight for three days, the sun came out yesterday and Sue and I jumped in her car and caught the light, the ice and snow the best we could.  Enjoy.

We all have our old schools. These are mine from top to bottom: John Adams High School, South Bend, 1963-64; Thomas Jefferson, South Bend, 1955-1963; and South Side High School, Fort Wayne, 1964-1967. There lots of great memories in those old buildings. I am glad I could catch these pix.

As I roam around the Angola area I see shots I want to take and eventually I make myself stop and do just that. In this case these were taken on a bright day before the big storm - I went home, got the camera and took these - FINALLY!

On a recent trip to Nauvoo IL we took these photos of the Temple and even had one taken of Sue and me in front of it.
